I've left it in the water for an hour, now there's water in the space between the lens and the emitter plus some moisture on the center spot of the lens itself, rendering it unusable, how can I solve this mess? :°(
 





If you attempted to power it it is done for, you will need to remove all the parts and clean each one with spectrasopic grade acetone or freshly distilled water and blow dry them with compressed air. Next you will need to replace the pump diode.
 
I've already powered it several times and it does work, but how do I disassemble the bezel?
 
dont try to turn it on while its wet. its more likely to be killed by a water induced short circuit than the water itself

I would imagine the pump diode would fair better than the crystals.
 
^The crystals a water soluble, right? (As they're internal, they may not be affected. I just want to clarify this for the sake of knowledge.)

I think one of them is, it may be the KTP. I'm not sure.
 
Not sure, don't have one. However have you ever thought about putting the laser into a dehydrator? Every time i drop a phone in water i put it in a jerky dehydrator for a day, and it's good as new.

Sorry, I don't know how to get the lens off either but I'm sure someone will. If you do find a way, packing any empty spaces with those silica packets could also help. If you can't open it then try packing the battery space with them until you work something else out. Don't pack too tightly though, they will expand as they become saturated.

Just solved: I've accidentally forced the tube in the wrong spot with a plier and the middle part has detached, I've used a glasses' cloth to clean the lens and now I'm good :-D
 
It's only water resistant according to the site. Water resistant isn't waterproof. I would be cautious before submerging any of these lasers.

Hi, is the Spyder III and the Spyder II Series Laser waterproof? How deep underwater can it reach? And how about the Arctic series?

All Spyder II & III hosts are waterproof up to 20m. This includes the Arctics.

You should tell them what happened. Why would you leave your laser submerged for an hour?

should take it scuba diving or something. shark protection lol.
