Battery question

I bought a host from Ehgemus that runs on 1 cr123 battery. My battery has not arrived yet but I want to start on this build. Can I use a regular non rechargeable cr123 battery temporarily to get started? My driver is a flex drive if that matters at all.

Yes. AFAIK, those cr123 sized photo-lithium batteries should work fine in your laser.
