Are these Position Mounts?

Hello!

I have 4 mounts that i am not entirely sure what their purpose is. They have far more adjustments than i normally see. I have googled these numerous times but i can not seem to find anything comparable. I can see they rotate on 2 axis, are these just fancy unbranded Gimbal mounts/lens holders?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Some pictures would be a good start. :D

Edit: Added a smiley because that came off as a little harsh without it ... :p

Hmm, interesting! I wonder what those optics are - perhaps some sort of gain medium or non-linear crystal - could we have some close ups of those? Perhaps some rough dimensions too? One looks like an aperture of some sort - maybe a mode aperture...

Certainly, looks like you have two axis of adjustment there, pan and tilt.

Certainly!

I put most of the dimensions in the pictures.

The larger of the two has a separate set of rectangle mounts in the back that are 1.5" x 2" for the outer and 7/8" x 7/8" for the inner with a hollow hole .5" diameter.

The Lens have writing on them one says N 45 S, the other N 35 S.

Hmm, I guess they are just two axis mounts, looks like regular dichros on them. Haven't even seen a mount quite like that though, even the threads on the screws are way more coarse than your typical mirror mount.
