I was wondering if anyone in the us has any GH0406AA2G that they are willing to part with.

How is the GH0406AA2G different from the GH04W10A2GC ?

I have the A2GC but not the AA2G however I am about to order one for testing from //////// but can you tell me how it's different ?
I would like to knife edge a bunch of multi watt diodes with exceptionally good divergence and the A2GC produces a spot/bar about half as wide as a M-140 in the far field and can be pushed to 2W, what I want to know is how good is the AA2G and how hard can it be driven ? How's it compare to the A2GC as for divergence ?

Correction, I just bought one from here, this seller usually ships from a US address so it arrives faster.

Likely not going to see much difference between the two considering how we can already push the 4W10 ones well past 1.5W. See here to compare specs:

There's a small difference in the divergence, maybe they can be pushed a bit further ?
It's interesting that they are advertised on the Chinese ebay add for " cutting " but that really doesn't mean much, would be nice if they could be pushed to 3W with basically the same divergence.

Red, let us know if it is superior. I got a little curious since its base recommended po was greater.

Will do, I'll check the divergence 1st the record the output vs. drive current and see where they are happy.
