Any suggestions, on where/how to start

Hi there,
I am a big laser enthusiast and want to start building my own lasers.
I don’t know where to start and what would be easiest at first?
Also will I have to learn assembly code/language to build the laser? Or are computers not needed.

Any advice will be appreciated !!!

Graham, you really should jump over and read the tutorial section of this forum. There is a wealth of information over there that will answer all your questions.

You only need basic soldering skills and a basic knowledge of electronics wouldn't hurt...
Programming is not required to build a functioning Laser...
But like "CRFultz" stated....

Start by reading.... and reading... and reading some more...
