Here is yet another "swappable" build... I've had this unit with a SF 6x 405nm diode already, and with a simple twist of the retaining nut I put in a 50mW greenie in. :can:

Here is the unit: DealExtreme: $13.65 MX Power ML-310 Cree WC-Q5 3-Mode 180-Lumen LED Flashlight (1*AA/1*CR123A)

I almost hated to rip the thing apart.... very hardy built, good threads, great looking, holds 1 AA or a CR123. I would add that this was my first
Cree flashlight and that those are the way to go.:thanks:

There is room for whatever combination you want. I'm trying for a 200mW green next stay tuned. Thank you for looking, now go out and build.

Great looking laser! I like the host, and the whole thing as a laser just looks so "technical" :)

^ that is the module I was thinking about... It's a bit of a pot luck sure, but I have always had good results pot modding those, and heck even if there 100mW I'll be happy. Thanks for the kind words I really like this host I ordered 2 more one hopefully will get a 12x or 8x in there the other is going to be a actual flashlight.:rolleyes:
