I just found this on ebay:

50mw tunable 532nm with AC 90-240VAC power supply laser
http://shorl.com/drisynygogeky

It looks like the same type as the one sold by aixiz as 15mW and dealextreme as 35mW and I got my "35 mW" Dx to do 70mW...
They write that it will do 80mW so this could be good for at least 100 if not more.
I'll report back when I get it!

Re: Aixiz 50Mw lab module

i would not spend any money on a laser thats not tec cooled / stabilized

but nevertheless for 65 dollars u realy cant go wrong

That's not a bad deal. At least 50mW for $65 isn't steep for a lab module, I just may pick up one of those in the future. I'm sure their shipping will take forever though.

Re: Aixiz 50Mw lab module

What do you mean stabilized?
Good luck finding a TEC cooled 532nm laser at this price!

I'm not using that crappy ttl modulated driver, I have a d4drive for this one.
The 70mW one I have has only a couple of degrees temperature change at double it's rated current so the big heatsink works well without TEC-cooling. I have a bunch of TEC's to but I really don't think they are going to be necessary in this case.
We'll se! :)

Re: Aixiz 50Mw lab module

you'd think that as a company they could take better pictures than that, but as for performance i'm not sure, my DX module could probably do 100mW but i've never pushed it past 75mW

Re: Aixiz 50Mw lab module

I got it today, it has a very nice build quality and the head is a bit larger than the DX lab module.
I tested it at 336 mA on a d4drive, it produced about 55mW at this current while the DX module was close to 70 at the same current.
When I turned it up I got 92mW at 445 mA, over that the output started to slowly sink but it peaked at about 105mW a few times.
It is a bit unstable when first switched on and when you push it hard but good value for money!

Wow 105mW, that's pretty nice for $65. Now it's definitely on my "to buy" list.

It won't survive long at 105mW, minutes or seconds maybe so keep it at a lower output!
400-420 should be ok for longer use but thy may behave different from unti to unit so you really need a power meter to see where it starts to act funny.
