Advice for buying batteries

I have a couple pair of those King Kong and many others have them also. They are good batteries and WILL fit in that host (I should know, I'm using a couple in that host);)
Actually I'm talking about the unprotected gold ones. We all just put a thin neodymium magnet between them. I've never seen anyone use those specific ones you linked too and they may have a fit problem. Not many laser users use protected cells.
If you are going to buy there then these are the ones I am talking about:

I see the magnets are not in stock there but you can always ask Rick if he has one he can send with the unit. I would be shocked if he doesn't have a bunch of them. Just tell him you need a magnet to make up the space between the 2 batteries as they are flat top.

jc, I've got to agree with Pman and Lifetime, King Kongs are, or at least were a good battery when I purchased mine.
I've got a half dozen or so of the same type that Pman linked to; I've had mine for going on 3 years now, and they're still holding up well.

A protected battery may not fit in some host. You better confirm that from your seller first.

Wow, that's some hiatus. You joined in 08? That's got to be one for the record books lol

Thanks everyone for your input, I ended up buying the King Kong gold batteries and I have a magnet laying around I can use as a spacer.
