A good deal for 41 diodes?

This is a lot of 36 JDSU diodes. The seller has no idea of what kind they are, or even if they are in fact laser diodes. It also comes with 5 other unknown objects (more diodes.) Anybody have any idea what kind these are from the pics? On top of that, if they're worth anything? I'm sure they're worth more than the <$1 price that the bids are at now, but how much more? A very curious auction indeed
 





Something tells me that those might be photo diodes or something of the like.

I'm not familiar with a die that has multiple emitters, but if I had to guess, that is what I would say IF I knew they were in fact laser diodes.

That being said, you can also assume they are IR and are horrible for collimation.

And that's a big if...
