Hey i purchased a 5mW green laser off ebay a couple of years back and ofcourse the new laws in australia now forbid anyone from importing these types of lasers, my problem is that the button for the laser has fallen off which has resulted in me removing the diode from the case and i am left with a circuit board that is missing the button (which i still have). Not a problem in most cases however i cannot seem to find what the button was wired to... it sat on the circuit board itself which is why i am baffled at what it was soldered to.
Here are the photos.

Any ideas on what to solder the the button to? any help is greatly appreciated.

If I were you I'd just scrap it and go buy a bit higher powered module considering their 100% legal in Aus...just my 2 cents.

In picture 3, it should be soldered between the 2 parallel white lines. You should see 2 solder pads there and matching ones on the switch button back.

Modules and parts are fine. It's the complete lasers that are the problem.
