Hi, i ordered a week ago this laser from odicforce: Compact 5mW Green Laser Module - ACC - Detailed item view - OdicForce Lasers Online Shop
I bought it so i could use this laser as a safe laser to use around indoors with out having to worry about my eyes. I currently use 1 CR2 battery which when fully powered is 3.6v. The specs show that this laser is driven at 3V, when i power it up it does look a lot brighter than a 5mw. I can see the laser's beam clearly on a clear night with no fog. I also have a 5mw red laser and it looks a LOT less brighter than the green. Yes i know that our eyes are 50 times more sensitive to green than red's. Do you think that this is a 5mw or am i over powering it? Should the driver limit the voltage though? Is it safe to use around the home? How many mW does a green laser which you can see the beam clearly on a clear sky?
If you want pictures then just ask
Thanks
