I just noticed this diode on eBay " Techood " is it new it looks very interesting
Spec sheet said 471nm Max it's a closed can awesome and rated at 2.6w that means we could possibly push them to 3.5-4w or more and its only $150
2.6a Max rating

Has anyone heard of this New diode!

Hi,
BBB
Sounds like an NUBMO7E 465nm and they can be pushed up to 470nm. I have one and it's really blue and bright. At 4.5A's i ran mine to 5+W's..

Hi,
So he's saying it's like a 07E but with a can right. I'd like see this diode fired up. If it is similar to the 07e this would be great without the Gball

The 07E is 2.9W @ 2.3A rated with ball lens but a guess is that this might be a NUB806 variant which is a 2.3W rated @ 1.9A but without the ball lens. Without the ball lens the rating would go up some not having to count the losses through the lens or deal with the small amount of heat trapped by the ball lens. Just a guess.
NUB806 Datasheet

Either way would be interesting to see how the divergence compares and of course no ball lens is a plus in my book.:)

I like the can and window, I wonder about divergence, is anyone getting one?

The more options we have the better, many new diodes have surfaced this year, so Existotem has them too, they both list 10 available.
If anyone grabs one before me please update this thread when have some info.

I've noticed that there are more sellers with the NDB7675 now too, and the price has decreased.
Just a month ago couldn't find anyone with the NDB7675 except for Jordan,

I have a feeling a 9mm 405 is going to pop up soon for reasonable price.
If I hadn't spent $700 on a custom LPM build last week I would have got this diode straight away. I know how much you love this wavelength too Redcowboy are you thinking about it!
