hi ok so im new to lasers and i rlly wanna build one i gathered up and read allot of info abt them and how they work and what i need to build em
so i started looking for parts...
driver:
Micro-Drive V3 adjustable driver (assembled) - $13.00 : rkcstr.com, Micro-Drive and laser diode electronics

diode:
PHR-803T HD diode in heat sink 405nm !!! HIGH POWER !! [PHR803T] - $14.99 : StoneTek Electronics, Your Laser Parts Store

i got heatsink host and module already covered..(not ordered yet though)

then i found out i needed a dummy load thing to set the current on my driver or something?? (need some explaining how to do it) (simple words please :p )
k so i found this one :
Laser driver dummy load (test red or blu-ray) - $9.99 : Modwerx Shop

the host im planning on getting is just a flashlight with heatsink ofcourse but it uses 3 AAA's and i wanna know if i could just use 3 * 1.5v ones to get 4.5volts or change the battery holder to 1 AA or 2 AAA or w/e

and i wanna know exactly how to connect the driver to the battery holder..

im buying goggles and soldering station tooo :)

well hope someone can clear things up for me..
btw im 14
