LeQuack;

The very best #18650 cells available today, from Samsung, Sanyo & LG are ~3000mah.

These companies have produced millions of cells in the last couple of years.

They are the industry leaders.

Rule of thumb, if its from china and its rated, halve it. Then you have a real rating :p

It might be possible - if you discharge them at a REALLY slow rate, like 1 mA or less, you might measure them to be 4000mAh or so... Still, they will be more like 2000mAh or less when inside a laser.

Most of those batteries are "pulled" from used battery packs ( laptops etc).

That particular model is one of the worst.

There is no 4000mAh 18650 battery in existence today.

Highest capacity available on today's market is 3100mAh made by Panasonic.

Model NCR18650A.

To give you a better picture. Even Panasonic will not release new 4000mAh model until the end of 2013.

Wait what, they pull them from battery packs then brand them as Ultrafire?!
Have you ever asked yourself : How is it possible to sell them for such a low price, and still make a profit.

Even for Chinese that is too much, or should I say to low:)
