How are you all!

This is my first thread, so don't bite me on a rude way if I make 1-2 mistakes...

This thread may be helpful for those who have never ordered from O-like and think about to order some stuff from them.

In the coming weeks I try to post more pics, such as beam shots...if I have enough time.

After a long hesitation and reading so many threads here on the LPF I decided in January 2011 to order a few items from O-like.
I placed my order on 01/21/2011 and since then I have not experienced any progress regarding the shipment of the products for about 10 days.
I wrote an e-mail to O-like and within 24 hours they replied.

I picked up my package at my local post office on 02.08. and a week later the chargers and batteries arrived too.

O-like forgot to send in the pack a CR123A 3.7V battery and a goggle for the 450mW New portable IR Filtered Green laser torch. The description clearly states that it comes with goggles.

Below -close to the bottom of my post- you can see the inside of the 450mW New, portable IR filtered Green laser torch. Pay attention to the spring! The negative end of the battery touches this spring. After 2 removal for check/charge of the battery this spring simply broke off from the electric circuit board. There is no support/protection around the spring at all! The spring is soldered with a tiny spot of tin to the edge of the electric circuit board (in 180 degree.) I'm not a tech savvy guy, I do not have soldering gun, tin...etc, therefore because it broke off it is completely useless at this time.
I'm about to write an e-mail to O-like.
Has anyone ever fixed a problem such as this? :anyone:
Does anyone know how to fix it? :anyone:
Can I ask the O-like to fix it and place a supportive protection around the spring?

The Real 1W 445nm blue laser torch has exactly the same construction like the 450mW IR filtered green laser torch. I have not even tried it. I afraid the same thing would happen to that too.
The 50mW 6 in1 green laser's spring got a nice support though.

The AA batteries, those can be seen on some of the pictures, only for size comparison.

This is a very nice little red laser torch. Unfortunately, it does not have any visible beam. Not even in a dark room. It burns black plastic bags. I have not experimented further. It is very easy to focus. It has a nice circular dot. It uses a single CR123A battery.

If you buy this, do not even think about to purchase the "Disco green laser 30mW/fun." IMHO the "Disco green laser 30mW/fun" is a waste of money.
This 50mW 6 in1 green laser pointer is way much better and it has 5 eye catching decorative patterns...unlike the "Disco green laser 30mW/fun" that has only 2 decorative patterns.
My daughter really liked the patterns of the 50mW 6 in1 green laser pointer when I projected them on the walls and ceiling of the dark room.
It works with 2 AAA batteries. (Not supplied.)

Here you can see that the spring got a very nice support :yh:...unlike the 450mW IR filtered Green laser torch. :yabbem:

Sorry uh.. the 405~450/808~2000 goggles are for DPSS ~420nm lasers? They are for what..? I think they should sell better if they were 532/808~1064... IHMO!
Thats very cool of you, sharing your order with us. Too bad you got a fragile unit. :(
Pics of the goggles efficiency would be greatly appreciated.
