How is the duty cycle of this build ? ...

With an Overdriven 9mm 445nm Diode Setup like this, This host would run for 2min's before it gets more than warm, And that's when it has drop in power of just 150mW.. And absolute max. is yet to be determined :beer:

The whole body gets hot, amazingly and heat does feel being transported, The thing that impressed me the most is that there is a secondary dissipation AFTER you turn off your host at the completion of the duty cycle,

In Which the heat is carried away to the back (Aluminium) So it doesnt need to be finned, which actually saves a lot of copper to be wasted!!

The entire idea of this host was to design an intelligent host for people who would like solid and sleek at the same time..

Haha, Brian just paid me for a MS-SSW JAD (2.2A Driver Installed with wires popping out screaming for a 9mm :na:) that i originally planned for this diode..
Co-incidently his PM was about the very host i had left and i traded it for the love he had for it and some money offcourse !!

@DJNY: PM replied sir!

That is a nice piece of copper head. That should cool the diode much better than aluminum. :)

Sinner, love is just the word I have for your host. You do great work, and I'm honored that you would let go of it for me.

Seeing as I am so antsy, any idea when this thing is going to get in the post?

I appreciate it man :beer: in about 3-5 days!!

You're right, Isn't it.. I also heard somewhere about "Once you go copper , You can never come back" Which actually is true, Even a 3X Bigger Aluminium heatsink wouldnt perform just as good!
P.S: How'd you like the names on this :na:

Hey Sinner I think he meant the MSSSW he purchased from you rather than the host this thread is about. I think if he reads 3-5 weeks on the MSSSW he might pass out from anxiety. I know I would :p

I got it, gentlemen. Thanks. I need to get this SAiK LPM'd so that I can sell it and buy a diode for my new monster. I may just go green...
