Yuppirs. They used to put steel cores in the fake silver coins they made. Last few years, they've switched to silver plated copper. I have an analyzer that gives me a precise composition of pretty much anything that contains up to 16 elements. It uses nuclear magnetic resonance. I had bought an NMR machine and found multiple uses for it.A bit of track but you obviously have seen that China is now invading the US with fake copys of rare coins like a 43 copper penny.
I'm reading that they fool even the advanced coin collectors and need 3rd or 4th party experts.
