Hey guys -
1) First and foremost, -I- was the one that questioned his price. On that point:
- It wasn't a hi-jack of the thread. If I had tried to sell something myself, or divert the conversation for some other reason, then it might be a hi-jack.
- My comment was a direct response to his post. It was "on point".
2) For the record, I didn't attack the OP.
- I didn't criticize him personally. I didn't question his ethics. I didn't attack his intentions.
- I DID question his price, and later, I questioned his METHOD of dealing with unfavorable comments.
3) For the record, I didn't "-neg a person simply because (I) didn't like the price of their sales." (I didn't -neg ANYONE, for ANY reason)
- And without putting words in anyone's mouth, I don't *think* mfo did this either.
- If I had to guess, I think mfo probably -negative rep'd mazza because of HOW mazza tried to handle criticism and unfavorable comments related TO the price of his sales.
From my own perspective, simply asking too much for something you're trying to sell (if that's even what happened here) isn't a blemish on someone's reputation. It's not by itself dishonest, or indicative of a bad *karma*.
However, trying to get honest and accurate commentary censored, IS a problem, or at least should be a reflection of bad character.
