Ok this laser is made by John, and i must say, he has done an awsome job!!!
it is lent to me from glenn for a while.

THE REVIEW

LOOKS- this laser is beautiful in the chrome laserglow lyra C host with a pocket clip. It has a 5mW class IIIa laser warning sticker.

POWER/COLOR- This laser is doing 135mW at what seems to be the upper end of the 405nm classification as it is highley visible and is quite deep violet with a nice blue hint. The dot is violet on most serfices except white, at which point it turns BRIGHT BLUE. when on white paper it seems to be at 455nm....

BURNING- WOW this laser burns!!! it can light white tipped matches at over 8feet with no black dot! It will engrave wood and burn just about anything dark or white you can find... Also it is fun to plaw with on heat sencitive paper!!!

I will post some pics and vids in a while i need to experament and find some good vids and pics!!!

Thanks to Glenn and John!!!

Are you trying to get this person in trouble. What he's doing is illegal. Not that I care, but the federal government does.
I beg to differ with your statement, the FDA specifically gives an exception for lasers from the code if "used for demonstration or for education" Also, although it w/b illegal to sell non-FDA approved lasers as a commercial item, if you ask, this laser is on loan, and was not sold! I think you may want to thoroughly re-read the laws Steve, if that is your name. AMB! -Glenn

Yes, and you have been a big help in our learning John, btw, there is a cancer research center that has one of your builds being used for identifying tumors in lab mice, so, JL helps to find a cure for cancer! What a good guy, eh? -GH

I have read the law and it applies to manufacturers. John qualifies as one of those. There aren't any loop holes.
