Imagine if someone was sitting next to the window and a huge laser beam shinned in 👽
If you use 3X Nubm44 shod you get like 15W> at 3.5A i wonder if the heat causes the diodes to lose power what heatsink do you use its a very nice build! can you take a picture from the front of the laser if possible !!

I hope you're kidding?

I just meant the output end of the pointer, on the outside.
sr for my reply lately!
near time i have busy with my work at company, so i can not answer erveryone fastly!
i have ship it to my customer, so i can't take a photo end outside for you!
everyone can see this pic, i have design it with 4 holes, but i only use 3 holes them, for the up heat very high!
- and i think that when you see this pic, you can guess how is the beam front out side!

Not be negative but I find it hard to believe you didn't store any pic's of this build in process?? or at least the front of the closed unit if you don't wan't give up any secrets?

Nice 12W laser build thanhtung, we have thought about making similiar laser using two powerful laser diodes and combine them into a single beam within a host no bigger than our striker model but the idea was discarded due to heat problem and also because we do not want to make a laser even bigger than the striker.

Now let see something different, check out this 55W 465nm laser, the design is rather simple, this 12 beams laser is powered by four 18650 batteries with a 60 seconds runtime.

this is new my version i was built for a my customer!
i use 3 x NUBM 44 but i set current 3.5A each, because it very hot
- SKdriver x 3, G2 lens x 3, 6 x 18650
pls see video and some pics, and send to me a message for order similar one
thanks!

That is awesome. You are making some of the best looking units I am seeing these days.🍺
A few notes and don't take it as me poking at you specifically as you know I love the stuff you are putting out but based on the power test video it shows the laser can run for a total of 10 seconds before it has to be turned off? Assume that is not what you were trying to show but that is all it tells me the way it was done and it is a bit close to the sensor. Trying to break bad habits. See this for details.

I will be mentioning this whenever I see it. Whoever it is but specially if selling a product and want to use a power test to make a statmetn of of capability to show a customer what the laser can do a full video run for whatever duty cycle you will be stating to the customers should be done to give an accurate perception of what they are buying.

Peak pics or videos where it is turned off right at peack were the real useful info is about to happen is really just wasted effort and how I see some sellers(not saying you) out there are deceiving customers. Anyway I got this speech back in the day so please don't take it as a poke at you. This was just the the first target I saw after posting that therad.

That has got to have a short duty cycle. How long before the outside gets too hot to touch?

Please, front end of the laser photo :)

Yep is it a build thread or a sales thead. If the primary reasong is just to sell the unit and not show off the full build process then should be in the BST.

If it is a build thraed we want laser porn not a teaser.😜

I like your builds thanhtung.

I did notice in your video that you do have 3 beams coming from the orange unit, but in your latest video with the silver unit I can only see 2 beams but there could be 3 and I think you did a good job lining them up with a knife edge in the 2 beam silver unit, the orange unit with 3 beams the beams cross over then overlap as they diverge don't they ?

I like your builds, very nice.

Very nice laser spotlight, and zooms too. :)
Did you use nubm05/nubm06 with GBalls intact ? It must get hot in 10-20 seconds.
