10440's

I seriously hate 10440 batteries. These things seem to be problematic for me. Like one out of every three seems to be defective. Anyone else ever have problems with the 10440 batteries?

Yes I'm converting every host I use that uses them to use a single 18650 cell, a more expensive driver is needed but now all the lasers will be more reliable and run longer.

I have about 10 X 10440's & have never had a bit of trouble with them. They charge fast & hold they're charge a long time. They are the UN-PROTECTED style from DX. IDK, go figure ??????..................rob

Do you use them to replace AAAs in special cases?

Only if you use a spacer & 1 X 10440. 2 X AAA = 3 Volt 1 X 10440 + spacer =3.6 Volt
re-chargeable. Use the "SEARCH BUTTON" & put in battery spacer. You should find a description on how to make one & possibly Pix or drawings. I think DX or Battery Juntion sells them also if you don't mind waiting...............rob
