The picture of the Hercules in that thread - I took it, it is this unit.
Re: Hercules-450 for sale!! $1500 maybe lower :):)
You must be joking. Since when did nobody want a 400mW consistent amazing laser?
Back in the day 400mW was unheard of.
Back in the same day this baby was the most powerful handheld laser on ANY laser forum, just behind the 500mW unit...
Re: Hercules-450 for sale!! $1500 maybe lower :):)
Hah, we tried to use it in a lab to look into the neural tissue of mice we were experimenting with. We were hoping we wouldn't have to request funding for a real laser... We knew just about nothing about lasers and it turned out that tiny...
I have a 3 year old Hercules-450 laser. I got it because I called at the right time. This is the laser that sent WL into chaos!
When I got it it was graphed averaging over 450mW, but now operates at a little under 400. Less than an hour on the diode as I only used it for short pulses.
I can...
I have a dead WL executive 125mW, but I think that its busted just about all the way through so I can't guarantee how intact any of the parts are going to be. PM me if you are interested anyways.

I probably won't be making another huge price cut again, so get it while its hot.

Its pretty old at this point so I'm rating it...
WL has an ad up on their photonic disruptor page, apparently it was on futureweapons. Its one of the most ridiculous examples of blatant false advertising I have ever seen in my life, if not the worst ever.
In the video, a terrorist with a hostage runs out a door and a soldier points the thing...
Well I can say for absolute certainty that laserglow has some of the best customer service and certainly some of the best lasers I have ever encountered, however I can also say that most red type lasers are very hard to focus correctly, so expect more beam spreading when it arrives.
I think you made a good choice with Optotronics, I have not ever seen anyone dissatisfied with them, and will probably try them out later this year.
I try and stay away from Techlasers, because there is some apparently significant fraud on their website, claiming some of their products to be...
