Thanks.
I guess.
You could have just stopped for a second and think reasonably.
I’m new to all of this. I’ve never seen an actual CNI laser. You guys have. I saw that the laser had CNI written on it and thought it might mean something. That’s why I asked. Before your links, I’ve never seen what...
Thx, I just did, but I ain’t any smarter because of that 😂
I still have no idea which categories to browse since I ain’t got the slightest clue of what are the items necessary for assembling a laser pointer.
I don’t wanna waste my time learning the subject cuz if it’s not worth it money wise...
Hey.
I was wondering, will buying a host, diode and module, and assembling it myself cost less money? If so, how much less?
I want a 0.5W or at least a 250mw 532nm laser, and they are pricey, so I was thinking maybe I’ll build one?
Is it possible with that output?
If so, what do I need exactly...
Update regarding the CNI store on AliE:
Does this make sense to any of you who have some experience with CNI?
Is that the way a CNI laser suppose to look?
I see.
Well I’ve checked and the batteries I’ve ordered are 3000mAh (claims), and actually are around 350mAh (tested).
Will those be ok or are they not strong enough? Or maybe the mAh is just how much energy can be stored and it doesn’t effect the power itself? (Theoretically)
Hey
Thanks again
I think I’ll go for the cheapest option, I don’t really need the box, and as I mentioned I’ve already ordered a pair of glasses and batteries.
Because I ordered 16340 batteries, I could just wait and see if the laser arrives with 18650 batteries, and then either way I’m...
Another thing that popped in my mind:
What will be the difference between using 2 16340 and 18650?
I mean technically, will it be less power outputted or less working time?
Assuming both types of batteries are the same voltage and whatever. (As you can probably tell, I know nothing about nothing...
You lost me lol
By cell you mean battery?
And what do you mean by battery tube?
And if you said only use 2 cells then what do you mean afterwards when you said to take the tube out when using 2 16340?
Should I use them or not?
And also, if I want to buy extra batteries for this laser, so what...
If that’s will be the actual range - Works for me :))
About the glasses, yeah, I actually ordered other glasses + other batteries even before I decided which laser to buy 😬
While we’re at it, is it possible to use 4 16340 3.7V instead of 2 18650? (don’t know the V of the 18650 that’s required...
Exactly my thoughts.
Even if it’s not a real 2W, I just can’t believe it will be a 100mw laser..
I don’t have an LPM since they are not cheap, but I think I will take my chance with the blue one..
Green is a different story from what I’ve read here, so that will be a cheap 100mw I guess...
I will. Thanks.
Update: I did. Couldn't find the thread :/
And yeah my bad with the gold plated:
https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/LqDnOKM
This one supposed to be 2W..
Thanks man.
If that’s the case with the greens, i guess i will go for a simple 100mw and hope for the best..
Regarding the blue, I hear ya.
But please tell me, the link that I posted to the gold plated laser, is that also a Thor laser?
Also, can you recommend a different site that actually...
Hey man.
I’m In israel, and Im interested in a blue 445-450nm with at least 1.6W (I’m not ruling out a 2W or a 3W model), and in a green 532nm with at least 200mw (preferably 500mw).

As an experienced member, how does it look...
I know most of them are cheap overpriced laser pointers, but there are some sellers that have good merchandise but just can’t write the real mW output.
I know this forum is mostly American and AliExpress is not popular there as it is elsewhere, but maybe someone knows about a good honest...
Hey all.
Beam wise ONLY - Is there a maximum output that exceeding it won’t make a lot of difference and it’s a waste of money?
I mean, let’s say a 1.6W 450nm laser provides a nice fat clear beam, would a 3W 450nm laser produce a noticeable difference? Or nothing that’s worth the extra money...
