Just finished the 380nm build. This is one of the coolest diodes I've used yet.

The Chinese don't typically build things to be serviceable, not easily anyways. They have more of a throw away and replace attitude towards most products in my opinion. It doesn't mean that it can't be done but it would require a certainly level of skill, tools and luck.
I've actually tried 3D printing adapters and it kind of worked. However, even diodes of much lower power than the PLTB450B diodes burn up rather quickly because the heat can't be absorbed by the plastic. My reason for trying this was to isolate a case positive diode from the host for polarity...
At least over in the EU and UK they put the scammers on a list. Ebay requires you to file a report with Action Fraud in order to get your money back from a scammer.
I've had things reported and many laser pointer listings taken down from ebay but never have I had all my listings removed like this. How does this even happen? It can't be from just a single incident, can it?
I had to drive 2 hours to get there and it was my first time. That store is pretty amazing! It's a good thing I didn't walk around with a shopping cart because I would be dead broke right now! :p
