I only wonder because I saw a couple laser sellers with those listed as one of the things they have. I did not see that here in these forums. I noticed that these dazzlers are green lasers too. I noticed that they are also crazy expensive. I am assuming they must have filters to block out...
I have these ones here:

They are two one watt red (650nm). Then there is a one watt 445nm
The black one is a green (532nm) one of unknown power but it does not seem to burn anything.
In the photos of the one watt lasers there is one...
I should take some photos and host them so I can link them. I decided laserpointerforums would be the best place to get rid of them since they are more likely to be bought by someone who knows the risks of operating these. As much as I don't want anyone getting hurt with these, they are no...
I was thinking of getting rid of them because they can be so dangerous to the eyes. I know that others may have more practical uses for them. I bought them to burn things and that is just not very practical for me considering the cost of them and the potential dangers of them. I was going to...
I would probably not use the "sunglasses" that he lists. A lot of times the ones on eBay are cheap. I wonder sometimes if they would even block a 5 mw laser, that is assuming that the wavelength of the laser matches them in the first place or they would be useless.
Curtis, for the lasers I have already. One 405nm 1 watt and my cheap green one that does not burn, I have these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DP2HJ0S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They were $42.00 with free shipping.
I have a 1 watt red (650nm) and for that one I got...
I have a 1 watt 405 laser. NEVER EVER look into the laser, never ever ever if it is turned on or has batteries in it especially. Aim it away from you when you put the cap on just in case the switch is on since it is hard to tell just by looking at it. If I have any doubts, I wear my googles...
The laser pointers I have seen all take the batteries negative end first. That is even the same for ones found at some local electronic stores that are 5mW or less. That is what you might hope they are since many people use those without eye protection because of their low power. I have a cat...
I just made that question much easier since it came in today. An 18650 does not fit, it is too big. I will need to get 16340s. I will get them the day my safety glasses come in this way I will not have the batteries for the laser without them.
Thanks, I just was not sure about that. The laser has not arrived in the mail just yet and I was looking to see if I should get the 16340s the next time I am out. I know a place that sells mostly specialty batteries and has a few flashlights. The people in there are friendly and knowledgeable...
I have one of these lasers:
Military 405nm 1W Blue Purple Laser Pointer Pen Power Beam Burn Light Cigarette | eBay
It is one that I have seen many reviews on. Will it damage the laser if I use an 18650 but it was advertised as being used for two 16340s? These two lines were copied from the...
I just ordered an Eagle Pair from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/190-540nm-800-1700nm-Protective-Goggles-Eaglepair/dp/B01DP2HJ0S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1472103497&sr=8-1&keywords=eagle+pair+laser+glasses
I got it for $42.00 and NO tax. From Survival Laser they would have been $64.99 with tax...
Reading this reminds me of John Stossel doing an episode called Illegal Everything. In a way he is right. Does any other country have so many laws? I know there are some places that punish many crimes with death or something else that is horrible. We have more people imprisoned here than all...
The green one is this and is probably similar to the 303:
10 Miles Range 532nm Green Laser Pointer Light Pen Visible Beam High Power Lazer | eBay
It is not a burning laser but for what little I paid, it has a good beam at night. I know there are some that are much brighter but it feels good...
The Eagle Pairs are very affordable. I just don't want to get into $300 ones that would make me have a heart attack if I were to accidentally break them. I will get an Eagle Pair. It looks to me like these ones should be more than adequate:?
Eagle Pair® 190-540nm & 800-1700nm OD5 Laser...
Hello I am new on here. I don't have a whole lot of knowledge about these just yet aside from avoiding looking into the laser and avoiding reflections whenever possible. What drew me to this forum is the many posts and apparently knowledgeable people here who write them.
I am mostly looking...
