The right build purchase for my dream 520nm pointer

Thanks to you all for the information. I am following up on all of it. Looks like I am going to go with a PLP520-B1 for indoor vaping and playing and for the bigger 1W+ I have still some decisions to make. The big boy will be a limited use outdoor only thing. It is so powerful it really limits...

The right build purchase for my dream 520nm pointer

OK, So I made a mess of my first attempt at this. I will try to go into more detail. For a couple of years, I have dabbled with some 532nm low power lasers. 50 to 120mw. Now I find that I have become hooked and want to spend the money to get a couple higher power 520nm lasers. Being on a fixed...

Green Divergence. Most power single element

Hello, Thank you for responding. I need to brush up on technical terminology. What I mean is a small dot at a distance. A fine beam that is as much round as is possible. This as opposed to a rectangular beam that paints a rectangular spot the size of a truck on a building 3 blocks away. I...

Green portable with good divergence for ~$120

I had a 400 mw 532 from O Like that lasted 3 weeks. Terrible divergence. Don't wast your money.

Green Divergence. Most power single element

I want a powerful 520nm laser. I don't want one that cannot reach the cloud cover. So what is my best option? I have yet to see a viable way to get a good infinity beam from one of the 1 watt 520nm diodes.

Not to beat a dead horse... Safety Goggles. I can't see the beam. So I do not use.

I know it is just a matter of time. Not using them is dangerous. I don't burn things. I don't use lasers around mirrors.. Camping trips, the beach at night, that kind of thing. Still, I know it. Anyone with knowledge of where I and others with a limited income can find a set of safety goggles...

$32 200mW 532nm laser module on eBay-Anyone else try it?

Here goes the original listing 10mW/30mW/50mW/100mW/200mW 532nm Green Dot Laser Module With Driver Spring/Wire Item number 182137371105 I have no idea how close if at all this is to 200mW. I will not even guess. The price is amazing. Even if it's not 200 it is very nice and bright for $32 bucks...

Somewhere between sunglasses and can't see my laser at all.

I am using this at my desk, in the living room, and mostly outside at night. I have recieved flashes from my flashlight that have left ghost images for a minute or two. Nothing even close to that with the laser. I just don't know that its safe to think that as long as I am never dazzled it is...

Somewhere between sunglasses and can't see my laser at all.

First thing I hear from anyone I show my laser to is "Whats the point if you can't see it thru the goggles?" Huge dilemma. Here is where it gets bad. I have taken to using my green approx. 50mW laser with just sunglasses. Before you freak out... NOT to burn or even to look directly at the spot...
