    SOLD : 2.5W and 3W SDL Fiber coupled 670 - 690nm laser diode + Drivers

Thanks : ) , I'm not to sure what the diode is inside there , could be a bar or single die . Thanks TDM for the help : D

    SOLD : 2.5W and 3W SDL Fiber coupled 670 - 690nm laser diode + Drivers

Thanks : D , Just so you/he is aware the black bucks are thermally epoxied to the water block so cannot be removed , The caps are there to protect the bucks from spikes , just a habit I have to add them Also be aware that are fiber launched diodes , so the output is very divergent and you...

    SOLD : 2.5W and 3W SDL Fiber coupled 670 - 690nm laser diode + Drivers

Hi , Sine I have slowed down in the laser hobby , thought I would list these two diodes . I have them listed on ebay and that is where I would like to sell them trough as its much easier for me , I have the GSP option for orders outside the UK . Both diodes where purchased used a while back...

    NUBM31T 95W 455nm

Tape has so many uses ^^ : D , LS - I will try and do that when I get around to setting the diode up again . Thanks Red , Alien : D

    NUBM31T 95W 455nm

Only tested one row @ 3A , ( 5 diodes , Forward voltage is around 20 - 22V ish ) Not done any more test yet as I need to get a good setup going for it . P1010776 by TwirlyWhirly555, on Flickr

Anyone ever work with the NECSEL 10 watt 520nm before??

As mentioned in this and the ebay thread these are two rows of 24 vertically emitting diodes that are directly doubled using a PPLN crystal . Input is around 20A , Heater voltage / current isn't given probably to due slight differences in temperature needed to get the best output . 33C on the...

Yours will be the exact same as mine looking at it

Anyone ever work with the NECSEL 10 watt 520nm before??

I cannot say on the module in the above picture as mine is a newer design , In mine there is a built in heater mounted to the PPLN and two 10KOhm thermistors , one for the diode and one for the PPLN , this I assume is the same / similar to the older style unit - there may be differences but...

Anyone ever work with the NECSEL 10 watt 520nm before??

You need to regulate the diodes at 33C I believe for the best output , though the PPLN heater control is a must to get any green at all , ignoring the PPLN heater will give poor output I have yet to run mine past 16A , Still need two temperature controllers

    Small refrigeration build R600a

Hi All . This was my first attempt at building a small phase change system . There was no real gain to be made from this on the CPU other than for the building experience : ) . Specs are - Secop 30AA 3cc R600a compressor 2.8m 0.8mm Capillary tube . 120mm 13W AC fan and 120x120x50mm...

    Homemade deathray

I'm aware of the replies , I Fully agree that care needs to be taken when doing stuff like this and that the OP needs to be considerably more safety concerned but simply putting the whole idea down is beyond me .

Calling all FAPpers - FAP800 - precautions and driving advice

Thanks : P , I don't use it for much as its a pain to focuses due to the large beam divergence . I'll take a look at the drivers , two black bucks for 80USD isn't to bad for 16A given the size of the driver though I did use two external low value resistors to help with current balance as I want...

Calling all FAPpers - FAP800 - precautions and driving advice

Nice Info , I need to look into getting a better CC driver , I have used two M8 bucks @ 7A each for 14A for a red fiber diode but its an expensive way to get higher currents , I have a 20W 940nm fiber coupled diode that needs a driver too P1010579 by TwirlyWhirly555, on Flickr

    Homemade deathray

Window looks shut to me , Beam isn't going to pass though it in any reasonable time , Though aiming it near a window isn't the best idea regardless : / Op - What's the beam size like ? On my 60W the beam was around 1" in diameter about 22 feet away , I did do a semi portable 20W Co2 laser a...
