Gozert has yet to reply to my PM's sent over a week ago regarding a partial refund ($30) due to a bad diode that DTR fixed. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

Yeah, DTR was great. Great communication, following him on Ebay too. He adjusted the current and put it in one of his own modules. Freaking love it! I'll be a returning customer of his definitely.

Thanks to DTR! Sent him my Dorcy Jr that I purchased from Gozert. Turns out the diode was bad but the cause was unknown or at least DTR didn't have the time to assess it for me. Anyways, I'm happy now! Here is a crappy beam shot with my camera phone (didn't feel like bringing out the Nikon today).

Sweet, DTR and myself are working something out then I will figure something else out with Gozert. You guys (and laserchick :P ) have been most helpful.

How would I do this is the question I should have asked. I can test with some of my other lasers that I don't mind if they break. Have to learn somehow. What would increased/decreased current acheive?

How does one go about doing this? Just my curiosity as DTR will be fixing it for me anyway.

Okay, DTR is reporting a bad diode. Have PMed Gozert to come to a fair conclusion for this

When I first saw this before relating it to Dead Space, in my head I was thinking "Is this guy sure he is building a laser? Or is this some elaborate trick where he is trying to build a key to open the tomb of treasures in a cave somewhere? Maybe he is hunting the chintimani stone."
