Thanks Lase. I was just joking. :yh: I did buy the 405nm for something powerful yet more discrete than a 445nm.
My eyes are pretty bad when it comes to differentiating shades of green, not to mention doing abysmally at tests like this:
Take the Ishihara Color Vision Test
Re: FS: 470mW Purple 405nm Laser
Does the external lens spring also aid in keeping the focus you set the laser to from changing (say, better than teflon tape)?
Thanks guys. I have had the unprotected cells from LarryDFW and everything is working fine. Thanks.

Yes, twas I who bought it. Really good first purchase.
I tried to post these earlier and the only ones I have at the moment. I'll get more up this weekend, and some beam shots. I hope these are a start to doing the laser some justice.
Thanks to Eghemus for a top quality laser and timely business transaction. The 1.4w 445 nm in custom host, sandblasted grip with multimode njg-18 driver functions flawlessly and is a real head-turner even when not in use. I was, however, uneasy for the first few days because I had to figure out...
Hello,

Re: using lasers as a light source to outdoor activity
Good question. I thought about asking this as well but didn't want to ask until I got my laser and try to figure it out from there (uncertain how diffuse the existing lenses can "flood" the beam.) It would be nice to have this as an option...
