Re: FS: Aluminum laser Combined Mounts For 12mm Modules
This is really cool. Will these line up perfectly using a combiner cube without any adjustment?
FOR SALE: 5 WATT+ LASER COMBINER MODULE:drool:
I WAS PLANNING ON INCORPORATING THIS INTO A LASER RIFLE BUILD BUT
DECIDED TO PURSUE OTHER PRIOECTS SO HERE IT IS.
THIS IS A RICK TRENT COMBINER MODULE COMPLETE WITH:
-DUAL 9mm 445nm DIODES
-445nm COMBINER CUBE
-2 ELEMENT COATED GLASS LENS'...
I really like the work you put into the LED bar display. Nice Job. I was thinking of doing a build out of one of these as well. (I have so many hosts and not sure which to do next.)

What about the 2 element 405/445 ? I use these and have found them to be a bit more powerful than the 3 element version but with almost the same dot size. DTR did a comparison on these a couple of years back. O-like use to make them, but I don't see them listed anymore. I have seen them on e bay...
How about trying a 2-element lens like the 1/2 threaded type that O-Like use to make or the full thread version that you were selling? I bet you will get about 4 watts at 3 Amps with a decent beam profile to boot.
No, i didn't. I would have and was going to; but the diode LED'd on me rather quickly so I decided not too. They are a bit better than the 5.6mm 405's, but in my opinion not any hardier. I've played with plenty 405's and I am thru with them as far as High-output builds go at least.
I have an Assault Phaser housing that I've been saving for the day that a 4 Watt or better Blue diode became available. It appears that that day has come! Now it's just a matter of $. I can't wait!
The show was mostly a made up drama for sure; but with some true facts thrown in. For instance the sightings of a 30' shark known locally as the "Submarine" was true. Some of the people interviewed were real. The 10,000 Year old carbon dated tooth is a documented fact, and the reports of...
Nice job Jay! Would like to see some more shots of the beam when your finished testing. Also would like to see how you went about mounting the lens in there.

Nice Rick. But with one singlemode and one multimode, wouldn't the round 405 dot just sit in the middle of the 445 dash(dot)? Would I need a 1/2 waveplate with this setup? I figured no since there is only one multimode in use.
Hi guys. I was contemplating building a laser by combining a 405 nm single mode beam using a pbs cube with a 445/450 nm multi mode beam. I don't see why this would'nt work, but wanted to get other opinions. The goal would be to get the nice bright beam and high power short range burning...
I have an old style(black threaded) G2 lens that I used for less than 5 minutes with an M140 but switched back to the 3-element lens. I'll sell it to you for $35.00+ $3.00 shipping. PM me if interested.
