Firstly, I do know that the spot won't actually be a spot but it'll be a small line or dash, however, I'm getting a large rectangle of light that is sapping power from the actual spot. I have no idea where it comes from or how to fix it. I would like to avoid buying a new diode at all costs but...

So I've searched the forum and google and haven't found anything really with a clear answer. Is there a lens make for 445nm that produces a dot as opposed to a short line? Is there an easy way to get a dot?

A double sided laser would RAWK. The effect he gets in that video is hella cool IMHO. And who doesn't want to have a Darth Maul laser pointer? I'm sure I'm not the only one who imitates a lightsaber duel with mine...I was Luke Skywalker for Halloween with my 1.6 watt 445nm. I won 4 best costume...
I just did it flush with the module. The lens is so far screwed in to the module to focus the ez focus adapter won't reach it. I do have it focused to infinity though and man, what a cannon. :)
It's a dude thing. I talk to my girlfriend about them all the time and she always gets worried that I have so much power in my hand.
