I want to use the driver I salvaged from a broken green pointer as a switchboard. But there is also a tiny led that I want to keep on there functioning for emission indicator purposes. Is this possible at all? And if so, which components do I keep/remove. Pics below.
I have a spare green laser module that has a driver that runs at 600mA which coincidentally happens to be the current I want to run a 445nm at. Would it be possible to use this driver with a 445nm diode?
Has anyone tried taking apart the old school evolution that WL used to sell? I have a lower powered one lying around, and I thought it would make a sweet host.
