some people think of a time tunnel because of the time machine in many movies
when looking at a laser tunnel, the effect is similar to the time machine effect
oh, cool ... so i don't have to do anything hard, just to make sure the wire (ill probably tin it) makes good contact with the spacer.
p.s. thanks for helping a laser noob like me, i really appreciate you helping me even though I do not know this stuff very well.
oh, what is the ground wire soldered to? cause it looks like you soldered it to the plastic piece. i asked this because it says that the ground wire is the negative lead, and a lead needs electricity, and its not going to get it from plastic. Also, what did you use to "clip" the black plastic...
Ok I'll pm you about the heat sink/ spacer cause I have my own minimag. Could I send you my minimag when it's done and have you make me one? Btw I'm making a blu Ray if it makes any difference. Thanks Jay.
Just got mine after reading your excellent review. I do have to comment on one thing though, I dolid not have the halo of light you had. My batteries that came with it ran out in five minutes though. I'll try to get a review up with some more beam shots.
i think im gonna buy just the pieces so i can make myown, but do you think you could make a ez focus adapter for it, since the housing is sticking out of the minimag? thanks
Re: GB: Dual Host/Heatsink Combo - Flashlight / Laser In One!
this looks really cool, but this would be my first laser build ever and I would just mess it up. I also don't know what half the things you are talking about. but awesome job still.
