I did not mean to laugh--clicked the wrong one-- VERY SORRY to hear what happened to you. have followed you for years-- one of our very best here. If I can help let me know -- I can send you a LPM__ if that will help.. Len
Lifetime highly respected and one of our best-- he prolly wants to sell what he already has ---maybe he will make a custom one for you AFTER you buy one already made-- just a suggestion
welcome
Instead of making a new post just edit your first one and add the new -- double posting when not needed is not well liked here-- no big deal..
additional posts when there are ones made by others would mean you just post again-- no need to edit.
BTW 3 in a row is worse==lol
^^^ what he said.
Its said that our eyes see 555nm best. Does not need to a lot of power-- fog.smoke is needed to see the beams. YOU can open any RGB/V pointers and adapted to run from 3/4 vdc. BUT green 532nm is very often pos to the rear and the others not. best luck to you....hak
Not many or no JLs with removeable lens. They use the best choice for tight beam and full power. Gray majored in English so NO PROBLEMS whatsoever with translations. If you dont hear back soon PM me for his email addy. hak
"most.'' greens (made with an IR laser diode then a lens that makes it green are almost always neg to the front- the makers must tell you and then you need to mark that inside the tailcap with a fine point sharpie.. BIG risk trying to find that out with trial and error IMHO.
coz the lens is in a threaded (brass) mount making it waterproof may be difficult.-- an enclosure like we use for cameras may be the best way---good luck
hello== nice to have you here... BTW MW is not what you meant--mW is correct or just W for the more powerful (MW is mega watt), no big deal--made same 'mistakes' myself
Thanks to all for the kind words... seeing Jetlasers.org instead of Jet Lasers threw me off,
Gray tells me that the techs at JL were never able to offer exotics wavelengths that were reliable and affordable too.
But feel free to ask Gray yourself. JetLasers.org/Gray--
AFAIK there have been few...
I see small tripods at thrift stores--last one cost me 3$... good lasers have same threaded hole as cameras have .IIRC (1/4 inch with 20 threads per inch.)
