    DISTANT LASER PHOTOGRAPHY

If you try to photograph your laser with a digital camera thru a telescope, set the resolution to the highest the camera can go. I found out that my pics now look crappy bcuz of the VGA mode not being changed. I will replace these soon as they are very well worth the enhancement.

    Re: 100mw green handheld laser

I noticed that site doesn't have prices or ordering info posted. Seems like an industrial supplier N/A to the public.

Re: profile mod needs to be user friendly--its not Sorry about the attitude there. Vista is new to me and frustrating and still kind of learning the whole photo adding to forums thing. Didnt realize you have to use a photohost service to make this work.

Re: profile mod needs to be user friendly--its not

Re: profile mod needs to be user friendly--its not I am trying to upload my pictures. My stuff is on my computer or in my camera only. The only things on the net are in my myspace albums. How do I get those on here?

    Yagoo Industrial Co. Ltd

Yagoo, huh? They don't use PayPal? Western Union only? What this means is when your laser dies in your hand you will NOT get your money back. My advice is get ahold of Justin's dust-gatherers and raid the parts to make your own. You will get a better product.

    So Where is everyone from??

Tucson, Arizona USA. The desert. 117 F with 80% humidity in July. Fun place. Lots of room to point lasers because there are thousands of square miles of open land and mountains here.

    Laser Visibility

I will try photographing it through a telescope to see what the effect will be. I did successfully beam a tall pickle-like Evergreen tree from a distance of about 2 miles. Looked cool through binoculars, though. Photos coming soon... ;D

    Laser Visibility

I see claims for lasers being visible 50-100 miles away on many of the websites. Here's my question: What would be seen by someone at a distance of 50+ miles when they are at the other end of the beam? How is this tested? I live against an uninhabited mountain desert area but it is a bit hard to...

    For sale[ch65281]200+ green laser pointer

Sunny's translated English shows he is a foreign supplier, possibly in China, judging by the way he phrases his messages. He won't send it to you because he knows you will break this item down and find it's real source. I'll bet he is a seller/reseller of re-branded equipment. He is hiding...

    Eye damage

This person is an idiot. A laser is a weapon in the wrong hands. Maybe he'll blind himself at the rate he's going.

    PPL Programmable Portable Laser

I just got a PPL100 and it is one nasty bastard. It wastes baloons rather quickly, almost instantly. The beam lights up a room and you can see the beam in a lit room. I call it a "ghost killer". If you are looking for a laser to get things done with, go with this one. Optotronics has a superior...

    baloon popping hints

In many videos showing rows of baloons being popped I noticed they move around a bit. Here is what works for me: Run a strip of masking tape along the surface sticky side up. Run smaller cross-strips face down to hold it down, place your baloons about 1 inch apart and pop away. It provided a...

    Optotronics RPL review !

I just got a PPL100 and at first I didn't think it was doing much at first. Well, the monster within it awoke today. I was able to waste baloons at a distance of 6 feet to 8 feet. :o It works best with red ones. I will put up a video of red baloons being popped en masse soon. This thing is F'ing...

And i thougt a beam was cool

As for public displays the best rule is keep beams above eye-level, allow no reflections and keep it away from flightpaths.

    burning capabilities

Optotronics has a 4000 mm (12 feet!) focal length lens for lasers. Still waiting for it to show up so I can see what it can do. I think its more impressive to pop and burn from a distance of feet than from 3 inches away. Makes a better video.

The stuff Spy vs. Spy is made of.

I guess we'll see if some "new" product shows up on thier websites. Spy vs Spy indeed.

    Hello all

I have a business in Arizona working with high-end audio and projecting equipment.  I spend time disassembling and re-engineering things.  I raid anything for parts and see what these parts do.   8-)

Let's look at the techlaser vs. Optotronics value

Re: Let's look at the techlaser vs. Optotronics va I think I will go with the Optronics laser because it is an American company that ships you your stuff in 2 days and if it breaks they take care of the problem. The overseas companies can jack you if they want to and you cant do anything about it.
