    First HD-DVD Build

    It still needs a little finishing work, but it's coming together nicely. Powered by a Lavadrive and a Ultrafire 14500 3.6v lithium battery. It's currently running at 100ma, and smokes dark colored stuff quite well. The host is an old Maglight clone by Brinkman, but it has a nice clicky switch...

    PHR-803T for about $20

    Hi Guys, I'm new to the forums, but thought I'd share this info. I ordered a couple of $19 refurb HD-DVD drives (one to use & one to salvage a diode from), and it ended up having the PHR-803T sled in it. I haven't finished extracting the diode, but it does appear to be the same high power one...
