    Save mA?

I gonna put it to 225mA sounds cool to me. Offcourse, i don't want to blind myself or anyone else! Jurre EDIT: I gonna edit my LM317 Driver: I will add a diode so polarity change wont kill the diode. As ressistor, i gonna use 2 10ohms in parrallel so i get 5ohms. when using this resistors i...

Ok, thank you. Will it burn then? I have an Aixiz housing with standard lens. Jurre

    Save mA?

Hi, It is a diode extractedfrom an old samsung ts-h552 Link:http://www.cdrinfo.com/sections/reviews/specific.aspx?articleid=11318 Why would you think its IR? I tested them at 50mA to see wich one is IRand wich was the red one. (I extracted 2 diodes) So i know wich one is the red one, but im...

    Save mA?

Hi all, Im building a laser, and i need some help chosing the right mA. I have a closed can diode extracted from 16x dvd burner. With a LM317 driver, to stabillize the current On the internet i found a video, where they used a opencandiode, They set their mA at 430. But how much mA can a...

    Do you think its dead?

LD was a Closed can red one. the resitors i used on the driver: the first one wass 5ohm the second one is 4.3ohm i used 4 diodes X 0.7 = 2.8V, the resistor is used on dummyload is 1 ohm yes, i shorted the capasitor 10uF 16V Jurre

    Do you think its dead?

Hi, It used to be a simple build. You know, a dvd-burner diode, LM317 driver and a good 7.5V power source. Well, after making the driver (LM317) and the power supply (from PC). It was time to attach the diode that wass pressed in a Aixiz housing. My LM317 driver wass tested with dummyload...

    First build: PHR-803T

Hi, thanks for the reply's! What does a test load do? I Already saw LM317 drivers, but isn't that one for a 650nm diode? Do i need some changes? Jurre

    HELP 1W 445nm & 405nm driver Aixiz

What? i can get a 6x 405nm diode instead of phr!, so i can use the driver then? :D

    HELP 1W 445nm & 405nm driver Aixiz

Ok thanks, i also have a modded computer power supply it can output to 30A on 5V if i use this and make a labby what kinda driver do i need then? Is this one suitable? : click here It has TTL, what does that mean? I wanna know so i can compare prices etc ;) Jurre

    HELP 1W 445nm & 405nm driver Aixiz

I wanna make a handheld. Maybe i could use AAA or AA size batteries. Have some old flaslight housings here to put everything in. Any driver suggestions? Jurre

    First build: PHR-803T

Hello, i'm going to make my first build. A 405nm (violet) extracted from PHR-803T sled. Well i have a few questions: 1.whats good current? 120mA? 2.whats a good driver for it? 3.somebody that has a diagram for what mw at wich current? Hope you can answer to (one of my) questions. I also gonna...

    HELP 1W 445nm & 405nm driver Aixiz

Hmm oke, do you (or anyone else) knows a good driver for a PHR-803T diode? I'm to affraid i damage my diode with this one. Anyone intrested in my 1W Aixiz driver? Haha $7.50 ;) Jurre

    HELP 1W 445nm & 405nm driver Aixiz

But its a cheap driver, so maybe it can't even output 1W. So , lets say the driver can output only 800mw, then the current for the 405nm will be even lower. How many V and A does it needs to output ~200mw power? Well here are the ebay specs: Jurre

: do you have a test load? if so, would you please tell the results? Before i blow up my diode in seconds

    HELP 1W 445nm & 405nm driver Aixiz

Hi, think its so strange why isn't there any documentation?? B.t.w i switched to a 6x bluray diode 405nm thing this one can handle 200mw? Well, if 4,8V mean 1.1A, i dont think 6V means the current to drop enough for a good diode life. Difference between 1W and 200mw is big..

    HELP 1W 445nm & 405nm driver Aixiz

Hi, thanks for the reply. In the description was the following: Also suitable for 405nm 200mw diodes. What does fixed current mean? Does it mean it will always output 1W or something? Thanks for your help, Jurre

    Requested: 405nm diode

Well, i have a driver specific for a 405nn 200mw lying around. So i only have to install the diode and the driver and im ready to go ;) How much is shipping? And could you please send some pictures? Jurre
