    Direction/Angle for simple YVO4-KTP Crystal

That reminds me of the video you posted. So just say you don’t want to help me. Hehehe. All good stuff but I think that was like drinking from a fire hose. hey do you have safety glasses. Did you read the stickies. dude eveytwith lasers is not easy nor cheap. Alignment is everything...

    Cheap deep UV laser

https://www.stmarys-ca.edu/sites/default/files/attachments/files/ThompsonKurtFinalReport_0.pdf This looks to be similar to what you want to do. Unfortunately there isn't a cheap laser source available to do this. If all you want to do is model Bells Inequality you can do that with polarizers...

    Cheap deep UV laser

There is no known source of uv lasers that are in that pricerange. All are likely 10k or more. Likely you need 266nm and that will convert back to 532nm. I have never seen bbo do that. It usually frequency doubles. Though I guess conversion from 808 to 1064 is the same process. Just never...

Repair of a partially dead LD

i like the water vapor theory or organic contamination. I have no real idea how or why but am thinking simple semiconductor poisoning. Oxygen can dope a nitride and water vapor is part of the process. It makes a depletion zone thus killing the junction...

Repair of a partially dead LD

putting a decanned diode in a non static plastic bag is a bad idea. It could be damaged just by the static in the bag. Has anyone stored a decanned one in nitrogen? Argon or helium would be better as nitrogen is still chemically active. If decanned and resealed in say argon I can’t see why...

    FAP1200-M-80W-800.0

The faps in my Verdi have a screw on fiber. Are you sure yours isn’t replaceable? These are only 20w faps. 808nm well on a good day. More like 806nm Till I heat them up. Expensive buggers.

Repair of a partially dead LD

Good work. That’s why I asked. I have spent whole weekends trying to get it right. I used motorized mirrors on a setup and that only took 30 min. Unfortunately I didn’t own them. I worked on an IR spec that used fiber to form the interference pattern. It was used as a reference for setting...

How is the Navy's "super cheap" Laser Weapon Safe? (To crew, I mean)

I think I’d be more afraid of the cloud of HF the device emits. Hope it gets scrubbed.

How is the Navy's "super cheap" Laser Weapon Safe? (To crew, I mean)

Unless that surface is a good mirror and it happens to act as a retroreflector I doubt much energy will return from the target. It will return if at all as diffuse light. Energy spreading out 1/r2. It would be hard to do it on purpose.

Can you show the layout of the system? Curious to see how you implemented it. That’s Really nice pattern.

Home Made Nitrogen Laser and Dye Laser!

Nice job. 6g can go all the way down into the deep red. Between the two dyes you have the whole visible spectrum!

Lysol, quantenary ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid, ethanol......

How to get unkown laser diode to operate

rather foolish. Don’t repeat. iR can be watts and all you see is a tiny glow. At that current I doubt it was lasing.

    Dye Laser Comes to Life!

You want a bunch of mix formulas? Pm me your email and I’ll send you a bunch of books Well actually try bookfi.net and just type in dye laser. You’ll get tons of books. Great site.

    Dye Laser Comes to Life!

I run 38mhz(divide by 4 so 9.6mhz in the cavity dumper) with 2.5ps width pulses in a ring dye. I use methanol and unless the pump is putting oxygen in I have not added anything but dye glycol and methanol. The methanol is pretty much just to get the viscosity right. My dye is a jet so I guess...

561nm and 563nm-571nm laser modules for sale

The last batch was supposedly 976nm for 575. I have one with a dead pump. I was meaning to play with pumps. Now that these are here think I shall.

So these have a driver already? Thought it was sans driver. What’s the voltage to apply if it has a driver.
