I made a new buck driver capable of up to 3A of current with very low ripple.
Efficiency is around 90%.

it's not a very small driver, but these are intended to be used with high power laser diodes and larger hosts.

I kept the components as minimum as possible and simple. I got a board with 16.6x15.5 size.. But my final pcb should end up a little smaller than my protoboard (which is made by hand).
No pot for current settings. Fixed resistors are used instead...
I decided to build a fresh selectable test load on a selfmade custom etched board (double sided)
and share it with you along with the pcb layout :)

I have a problem... I want to electrically isolate a green laser module
inside a heatsink from the rest of the host and still remain good thermal
contact with it?
I don't want to use glue based solution.. I need something that I can remove
whenever I choose to without breaking...
