Re: 445nm "sled" pics
i too would like to know this, but chances are hes already pulled it apart (i wouldve if i had 24 blue lasers just sitting there:D)
Re: ROUND 2 SOLD!! Awaiting payment - CHEAP 445nm diodes group buy
could the projector be powered up and current be tested whilst the lasers are lasing? that would give a good range to power them at
Re: ROUND 2 SOLD!! Awaiting payment - CHEAP 445nm diodes group buy
are these diodes actually 5.6mm? i thought that because it is multimode it would be 9mm...
Re: ROUND 2 SOLD!! Awaiting payment - CHEAP 445nm diodes group buy
i remember reading that the ebay 445nm diodes have a forward voltage of 4.2v i think
Re: ROUND 2 - CHEAP 445nm diodes group buy
how much for postage to Australia? Thanks, Hugo. (i'm probably in for one if optics are included, and you can ship to Australia, but don't put me down quite yet).
i think i read a review or thread on this guy, from memory the modules are ran very high (a 6x is actually his 250/300mw module just run at a way too high current). His prices are expensive too for the bad drivers he uses....
i had this same problem and the highest i could find was a module that took 4.2v or a single lithium battery (it was at laserlands.com i think, theyre new green module they designed).
did this about a year ago, but with my elbow :D strange thing is i didn't even feel it (mustnt be many pain receptors in your elbow or something?) didn't super glue it back together though rofl :p
also with the photo voltaic cells i have heard that most respond to green best (or only in some cases) using IR may produce little to no results unless you have purchased a specific cell for this wavelength.
