I didn't get this exact pen from them but the 4 I ordered are also rated 5mw.. If the results are similar I may not need to swap in the 50mw modules!

For your red build a copper module is not necessary. The duty cycle on mine is infinite and it is the standard aixiz module. Good luck!

Re: It Was a Good Day in Laser Land... LOL! I have to agree.. $18 for roughly a dollar's worth of aluminum is pretty nuts but I liked the black one on my LPC so much I had to bite the bullet. I should make some Ti ones :)

As mentioned, DTR is a safe bet when shopping for diodes. On the other hand, my experience with hightechdealz was more than satisfactory. Question: My red build uses an LPC-826 from HTD but I was wondering, which diode does DTR sell in 650nm? I don't believe he calls it an LPC-826

That sounds like it will be a very nice build! Those 9mm's are beefy but there's nothing wrong with the M140.. unless you want 3000mw.. :drool:
