Sorry to all (wish it won't be too late )

You have already done more than enough when compared to most china sellers, you have even payed hundreds of dollars of your own money on a laser power meter and sacrificed profit by being honest and still offering bargain prices.

    200mw green from BudgetGadgets

I'm probably to late with this post but I bought the same laser from budget gadgets, it ended up costing $118 and after three days it stopped working. I don't have and LPM to test output but I doubt it was up to spec. First after two days the focusing ring broke and then the next day it stopped...

Sorry to all (wish it won't be too late )

Firstly, thanks for being honest, me and all of the members of the forum think that is great. Just because the company you get your lasers from are idiots it does not mean people will think of you as less honest. Even with the lower outputs the vast majority of your lasers are still great...

    Looking for an SSY-1

I have recently began searching for an ssy-1. The ssy-1 is a q-switched nd yag laser that was originally used for a laser range finder in a tank. It has a pulsed output and is available on Meredith Instruments.com, unfortunatley they wont ship to my country (Australia), and so I am looking for...

Thanks, and I bought the ArIon for exactly that; an introduction to gas lasers. I already have several diode lasers and I cant wait to recieve my first gas laser. The sooner Tuesday comes the better.:yh:

The Search For The Most Deadly Lasing Medium!

I think it might be, as said a dioxin or possibly but less likely ricin. And of course you could make a woman lase, just vaporise her:crackup:

    Laser burning power cleared up.

Thanks, I agree it should not matter how old the post is if the information is still valid then I think people should still post, as Flaminpyro said "If we wern't supposed to use old threads then why are they here?." In fact some people (who will remain nameless for their own protection;) ) have...

Learn From Mistakes That Can Happen To Anybody...

Really Embarrasing, but with my first harvest I only read one guide and it didn't have pictures, sure I knew what an LD looked like but not very well... Well i took apart the burner (at least I got it for free), took out the sled and then the diode holder. I then preceded to use a screwdriver to...

Laser Essay: Types of laser hobbyists on LPF.

Very very true and well classified, I have noticed exactly the same thing in my experience, well done.

    Laser burning power cleared up.

Also the shorter the wavelength of the laser the better it will burn as shorter wavelengths are able to interact with smaller molecules/atoms. It also means it will be able to burn a wider range of things.

If you do gas lasers how about 80mw laser physics argon and a 5mw laser physics argon?

    Lasar Science Fair Idea HELP!

In my opinion you should just use an infrared thermometer, you can get them for about $20 on the internet. And yes the liquid would absorb some of the heat (I think), but it would also weaken the beam from reflection (again I think). I hope I have helped and if yes please dont hesitate to give...
