Ever Purchased from PRISM Electronics? (EBay)

Update: Managed to get another one of the mirrors I was after for 36.80 shipped, original asking price was 58.79 (49.99+8.80 shipping.) I didn't do the exact math but should be close to a 40% off asking price.

Ever Purchased from PRISM Electronics? (EBay)

Re: Every Purchased from PRISM Electronics? (EBay) They tend to accept offer prices pretty freely. I got a couple optics and mirrors for less than half of what he was asking. Still kinda of leary of buying anything much more expensive than 20 bucks though...

What brands of 18650(and other such batteries) are good?

I highly prefer MXJO batteries for all my high drain 18650 applications, namely the IMR18650 3000mah, however it is noteworthy that this opinion was come to by way of vape culture experience and not from lasers.

    Rechargable CR2s or equivalent?

Yes the i2 is fine to use with unprotected batteries. It is a decent bare bones charger. I use an i4 for all my vape batteries. Probably gonna have to get another now that lasers have caught my interest again though. -_-

    4 16000mah 6s lipos

I bought a wrecked Steadidrone QU4D and have been slowly piecing it back together. The batteries it came with were only 5200 mah, since I upgraded the motors and changed the props I don't think im going to get much flight time out of them hence been looking for the biggest beast of a battery...

    4 16000mah 6s lipos

Do let me know if you decide to get rid of any of those, I have a rc project it would work very nice in.

Plug N Play hosts for sale..

@Lifetime - What host is that in that very last photo? I thought I saw XML-T5 on a previous picture of it but the text is pretty small so I am not sure.

    Slightly Modded Thor MII

I did the same thing but I had the understanding they might not fit. While this is NOT A SAFE THING TO DO (SO PLEASE DO NOT DO IT) if I was to remove the battery wrap they would have fit in there but they may never have come out. I used a dremel with a 220 grit sanding wheel to bore most of...

Third generation 594 "Rigel" pens with matte finish: improved or no?

I'm bumping this because I would like to know the answer to this question as well! (and the post isn't a mummy yet)

    My new Thor 2

@Vjanda - I bored out my battery tube on my Thor so it would fit some RCR123A batteries. I get about 4 minutes of increased runtime using 650mah RCR123As by Nitecore. They make higher mAh RCR123As but after researching this type of high drain batteries these seem to be super popular in both...

Looking to buy good focusing 445nm 2-5W blue laser

@TOExHEAD - I just picked up a Thor M II (M 2) from ebay for $50. While it states it ships from China I paid for expedited shipping and it arrived in three days, shipping from ontario, california. While it is without a doubt lower in the quality spectrum (as far as build materials) it...

    Slightly Modded Thor MII

@94Z28 - That was the only reason I didn't go straight for the 18350, it would only leave a >2mm wall which considering the low grade of this aluminum is probably a bad thing.

    Slightly Modded Thor MII

Bored out the ID of the Thor to allow RCR123A's to fit in there. Relatively low fuss mod, hardest part was finding the right tool to fit inside. Ended up with 3-4 minute longer runtime. I may try to do an 18350 next but being I've only had this thing for 2 days I think I'm going to enjoy it a...

    A Short Introduction...

Howdy! I've been a lurker on this forum for awhile but I am finally getting to where I feel like having an account may be beneficial. In light of that I wanted to make this post to introduce myself as well as give all of you an idea of why I am here. My interest in lasers started when I was...
