    large 5mm x 6" tritium tube

bump, this tritium is about 6 months old.

    large 5mm x 6" tritium tube

I am selling a large tritium vial that measures 5mm x over 6" long. I like it I just want to direct the funds to another project. Asking what I paid $50 + shipping. Thanks

Possibly The most efficient M140,my new 2.6W+ saik build

Been there and done that with an m140 at an even 1.8a of current. Good job though, it is super rare to get one like that.

    New 9mm 445 diodes

Can you elaborate on that? Are you saying that you have pushed one of these diodes over 3a?

    New 9mm 445 diodes

I really didn't mean it when I said crappy. I mean look at what I am whining about. A year ago people would be slobbering over a 2.5w laser. I know its not crappy I just was hoping it would be more in the 2.7w range. I am going to push it to 2.1a and leave it be and order another!

    New 9mm 445 diodes

Thats what I was thinking as well.... I have had diodes read thatmuch @ 1.8a before.... why do I always get the crappy ones......:yabbem:

    New 9mm 445 diodes

Ok, so I finally got to test one of my diodes out. I am getting 2.56w @ 2.0a of current. I know there is no handbook for these diodes but with these readings do you professionals think this diode can be turned up any further?

    New 9mm 445 diodes

Ok gotcha, so looking down at the pot is it turned clockwise or counter clockwise to adjust the current upward? I do not own a test load so I am going to have to turn it all the way down and make small adjustments until I get it where I want it. But with what we know these diodes can take 1.8a...

    New 9mm 445 diodes

One last question on that driver. I got it hooked up tonight and tested to be sure it works and it did. I have it set on the low mode for now and I have 3 questions before I get it dialed in. 1) where is the current set at when it arrived to me? 2) can I check the current at 2 of the open...

    New 9mm 445 diodes

I step drilled out to a 15/32 on the lathe and it seems that it will be a very tight fit. One question I have on that blitzbuck v3 is can I set the current with no load attached to the output wires or will that hurt anything? After I set it and say that I want to adjust it will I be able to...

    New 9mm 445 diodes

Don't know if this has been covered or not but what size drill bit is everyone using for these modules like the ones that DTR is packaging with his diodes? They are measuring a tad under 12mm and a 12mm bit is leaving loose but manageable fit. I would prefer a slight interference fit with some...

    New 9mm 445 diodes

I am thinking of trying the blitzbuckv3 I am liking what I am reading on the site about it and it will fit my host perfectly. Anyone have any real world experience with it driving one of these diodes?

    New 9mm 445 diodes

Are there any good substitutes for a driver for these diodes besides the flex P3? I need something with a smaller footprint that can drive my diode to at least 2a. I know some of the smaller diodes could be ran together to get the higher currents but am unsure which ones those are....

    New 9mm 445 diodes

I just ordered another from DTR, hopefully I get a real nice one. :san: Going to put this in my ultra rare purple 2C mag that is slotted for ice blue trits, with a pair of IMR 18650 cells, and a P3 driver. I am going to see how it responds to 1.8a current and depending on my power reading at...

    New 9mm 445 diodes

I wonder how long it will hold at that current???

    New 9mm 445 diodes

Yes it is putting out light and seems to get just as hot as normal but is just not making any power.... I do however still have the lens in perfect shape and it is installed into a module that will fit the modules that DTR is giving away with the diodes. I just machined the DTR module down...

    New 9mm 445 diodes

Damn that's a tough one to swallow especially for a brand new diode with no time on it.

    New 9mm 445 diodes

well im in a bit of a predicament.... I guess when I was pressing the diode into its housing I must have done something and cracked the lens that is in the diode itself... Is this fixable or is the diode trash? I fished the pieces out through the hole in the front very carefully and the diode...

    New 9mm 445 diodes

Hmmm. That pic is lacking some detail that would clear it up for part timers like myself. These are my first lens to assemble myself so I just want to make sure it's right.
