Im using this diode with a microflex v5. A very good single cell lion powering. Is this an optimal setup? Divergence and beam is surprisingly good for multimode just doesn't have the power behind it as the BDR209 has. No laser power meter to test, just my subjective observation.

Possible the glue holding the crystal assembly loosened. Alignment is not an easy job, neither is regluing. Very risky and difficult procedure to DIY! Been there, done that, wont do it again!
