    spot sans beam?

    Having been intrigued by lasers only a matter of hours now, I have many questions. At the risk of being in the wrong forum AND taking the prize for dumbest question - is it possible to create a well defined spot with a green laser at, say, 25 - 30 yards at night WITHOUT a visible beam? Sorry...
