    What's in your camera bag?

HQ? I think it depends on the person behind the camera, filters work great for the well informed. The Raynox Macro club - PentaxForums.com

    Nice capture!

It takes less than 1/2 of a second for the ISS to transit the surface of the sun, (.49 of a second so it's not much less) so this guy must be good!

    Laser Contracts

You need a "builder"! :yh: Plenty of them here on LPF, GooeyGus did a build for me but I haven't seen him post in a while, I sent him all the parts and he worked his magic. Take your pick, there's a bazillion members here that would do a great job of building what you want. Ray

    What's in your camera bag?

It's not as big as you think (and you're right, it IS built like a tank), from the objective to the screw mount the lens is only 10" long. Tripod is a must for this lens and as you can probably tell it has a razor thin DOF at closer distances. Here's another from 50'.....

    What's in your camera bag?

Jpeg from 50 ft. using the MTO 1000mm right out of my "old" K100DS ( no cropping or PP what so ever) Couldn't find AA's for my scale but it seems to weight about 4 lbs. Ray

    What's in your camera bag?

Just a note....if I just happened to switch systems it would be with Nikon. You can go way back for legecy lenses with Nikon, Canon screwed the pooch!

    LED Orb 2.0

I just had to delete 40 E-mails because of a linkback. Who did it!

    LED Orb 2.0

I don't know TJ. I don't think it looks crude at all, I really like it, in fact it looks like a gadget from a Jules Verne movie. The fact that FML fabricated this by hand makes it more desireable IMHO.

    LED Orb 2.0

Heck yes that's cool! (I watched the whole 7:24 video, I was mesmerized) Did you have any vibration problems FML? Balancing that thing must of been a real PITA. Ray
