What type of lighting do you use?

I used to use Blacklight fluorescents all the time, it's why I have such terrible vision below 500nm. Now it's either sunlight or my laptop screen. Lase

Finally, a Shark With a Laser

I'm no expert on sharks, but seeing as they wouldn't normally have things clipped to their dorsal fins, I would think they'd notice, and try to take a chunk out of whatever it was? Any cat/dog I've seen with even a peg clipped to their fur tried to get it off fast. Also very sure Dr. Evil...

FEELER: New 3.8 reds neutral grounding

Hi all, This is for anyone involved in the GB for the new red diodes lazereer has acquired for us. I have spoken to JLSE about having these diodes altered and he stated that if more people from the GB were interested we may be able to organize to have lazereer send them for alteration before...

If you can offer the V3 with the ability to drive these new reds on one 3.7V you'll have a lot of interest from me :D Seems like everyone jumped on building high A drivers and forgot about the little reds :( Lase

Hey we still have Englands Queen *snigger* We tried to become a stand-alone country years ago but for some reason it was voted to stay under her rule. Talk about failure... EDIT: More failure from our lonely country... Australian Billionaire to enlist China to build Titanic II I heard this...

Yellow versus Green - Which color is more visible to the eye?

Both. My 405 laser is basically invisible to me (~150mW when it was new) and I haven't seen a 445 to compare but all these beamshots and raw output photos that are posted here are useless to me :D I have to adjust the colour to see them properly. Lase

Seems fine at the moment? No Issues for me. EDIT: Is this what you mean? Lase

Yellow versus Green - Which color is more visible to the eye?

To me (and my skewed perception of colours) my 1-2mW 593.5 is equally as bright as a 20mW 532. Also a little tidbit, my avatar I can barely see at all. It's a very washed out lilac colour to me Lase

Yellow versus Green - Which color is more visible to the eye?

An example of this is me :P I have very poor vision in the <500nm range but (after testing recently) I have very good vision in the 590-660 range. I can also see certain IR wavelengths better than most people. 808nm stands out to me quite well. This would all depend on divergence, atmospheric...

    Epic Huge RGB Digital Clock

Re: To build or not to build ... You'd never be able to complain about not knowing the time again when it's that huge and in-your-face  You could almost wear an LED suit and 'become part of time' :D Lase
