Hey Pete have you ever taking one of those single AAA laser apart? I bought 3 of them on my last order and gave 2 away but I had to keep one they are just to much fun. They were all 45 -70 mW. Just a tad over spec ;)

I am glad you read the reviews I forgot to tell ya. Most all 5mW greens are over spec buy alot unless they are built with an APC circuit to control the output. And yes my real name is Scott:D But it's my middle name:p Edit: Battery neg towards output end.

Yep. They will work just like a enclosed diode. In fact you decan a 455nm diode and it will still work.
