LOTS OF LASERS & OTHER STUFF FOR SALE by HERUUR

It will be every weekend during the month of JULY so you got some time, but I am sure some things probably will not last long... :D

Why does aixiz make thier modules out of brass?

Aluminum also has a higher coefficient of thermal expansion than brass, this smaller coefficient is needed to mach the diodes and hold them in place with a snug press fit.

the 3.3and 5V rails need a minimum load, the +,-12 ans -5 rails are derived from the 5V bus using a DC-DC type converter circuit in most current computer PSU's

LOTS OF LASERS & OTHER STUFF FOR SALE by HERUUR

Enough fighting. All these things are as they are described, and i will happily demonstrate them for you if you have doubts. If people cannot come physically and want things shipped instead, one solution is you can get somebody to do a group-buy and come pick the items up and ship them to you...

LOTS OF LASERS & OTHER STUFF FOR SALE by HERUUR

I didn't scam you, you blew up a red laser-diode by hooking it up to a wall-wort transformer. ANYWAY, This is a live sale this isn't an online sale. What you see is what you get. You have to physically come buy it and pick it up.

Deep BLUE BURNING BEAMS of DOOM!

these lasers pop red, green, purple, black, and orange balloons almost instantly, while blue, white, and yellow don't seem to pop very easily.

Laser diode replacement, not what you think!

the cracked inductor shouldn't be too much of a problem as long as the center ferrite slug in the middle is OK, That tantalum cap should be replaced as it buffers the kick from the inductor so it doesen't fry the fets. Glue some aluminum bar stock to the switcher fets that are under the diode...

:D Evil grin... We shall see...

Computer power supplies need a minimum 5 to 10% immediate load to run stable. To get that minimum load is simple, a 25W halogen lamp powering a GOBO eyecandy projector.

Distant early warning... 445nm to be banned soon?

The problem that may make them change the design isn't the parts or projectors or making pointers from the blue diodes. The problem is the potential for a lawsuit. You see a jury cannot be easily made to realize the lasers as they are used in a projector are just being used as a bright blue...

Does anyone even care about 473nm anymore?

445 at low mw powers appears almost a deep indigo violet color.

    Shaping the 445nm Beam

I thed the anamophic set from a B&W blue dpss laser and the 808 coatings are out of the question for blue laser, works great with red though!

Does anyone even care about 473nm anymore?

473 still has a better beam mode, and argon 488nm is still my favorite shade of blue :o)

Distant early warning... 445nm to be banned soon?

I took a power measurement of the projector's output at close range amd it WILL cause serious eye injury and likely blindness if you look into it, but then again so can higher power LED flashlights and movie projectors. I do know for a fact, Casio isn't thrilled with people making class IV laser...

    Melting a webcam

A stray reflection from a 445nm laser off a glass jar killed a pixel in my older digital camera's CCD sensor. So not much... For the fun of it I zapped a cheap B&W analog security camera and it offed it nearly instantly. wonder if there are some attenuator filters for this wavelength?

    Shaping the 445nm Beam

If putting before the main collimator lens, any short EFL cylinder lens will work, shorter the better, the idea is have the virtual focus point appear somewhere inside the die to cause the expansion of the fast axis to slow and equal the slow axis. To collimate you will need to make the focal...

The pop effect is usually caused by pulsed lasers like yag and ruby. Check out my video zapping stuff and that's what it would do to the back of your eye. One direct or reflected hit-Pop or no pop- the result is the same- TOTALLY BLIND... get some f'ing safety glasses!

    445nm Laser Experiments

Try a blue LED, you'll find it works in reverse makes about almost 200ma when exited with 1W
